Thom Foster

Brian,

I was thinking about taking my son out this weekend. Any suggestions on a few places to try to catch some whites?

Big Indiana Bass

Locally, Eagle Creek, Raccoon and Cataract are the three reservoirs that have white bass populations strong enough to count on an upriver run. However, due to the recent 4" of rain, most all of these have now been blown out, and 2 of the 3 are well above normal pool and likely unfishable. Worse past is that we are expecting another inch or two overnight. It I had to pick one to try though, I'd lean toward EC since it is back to pool stage and the most likely to recover quickest. If you are more NE/E side, you could also look toward Brookville as it is in much better shape overall.
