Spoonpluggers have known this for 70 years!!!!
Thank you Buck Perry for teaching us that KNOWLEDGE is the key to fishing success!
Not color, action, or size. Move the lure at the right depth and at the right speed, and that is all that needs to be done!
Depth and speed control.

The best way to prove or disprove anything when it comes to lures is fishing them often, under different circumstances and in different waters. I've experimented with various skirt colors and color combinations and found that when fish were hitting spinnerbaits, it made no difference the color and especially how 'natural' it looked. In fact I go for 'unnatural' most of the time and get many strikes dependent on lure action, speed (usually slow) and profile. No hype/ just fact.
