Matt - AKA Fish Repellent

Awesome story!
Also, I love the commentary by Dan Pardue (above). I'd love to see some pic's of Dan's collection.

Rewind to 1968. I and former radio guy Dave "The King" Wilson would ride our bikes at 5:00 AM to the pits on Crawfordsville Rd (Waterfront now), me casting my Sparkle Tail bought at Ayr-Way and Wilson throwing his Lazy Ike. We knew nothing about bass fishing and would maybe stumble onto a couple of pounders. But we thought we were Virgil Ward or Jerry McKinnis.

Big Indiana Bass

Very neat story, William. that area was my old stomping grounds, too. If you haven't seen this older post on development in that entire area, check it out: https://www.bigindianabass.com/big_indiana_bass/2015/02/old-eagle-creek-history-and-fishing-areas.html
