My Dad worked at Naval Ordinance with him ,I used to paint them for extra money during my summer vacations ! I still have some of the lures !

Rewind to 1968. I and former radio guy Dave "The King" Wilson would ride our bikes at 5:00 AM to the pits on Crawfordsville Rd (Waterfront now), me casting my Sparkle Tail bought at Ayr-Way and Wilson throwing his Lazy Ike. We knew nothing about bass fishing and would maybe stumble onto a couple of pounders. But we thought we were Virgil Ward or Jerry McKinnis.
