The news networks are picking up on the most recent study results released possibly connected to the intersex fish issue. You don't hear a lot of talk around our state concerning this issue, but it has been a major news item out east, especially linked to the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers and various fish kills. Chances are good we have the same thing going on in some of our major riverways, perhaps just not to the same degree yet as we're witnessing on the eastern front.
The newest research is pinning at least partial blame on estrogen. You can read a good sampling of the reports and releases below:
